Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/How to Fly
This page is an archive of the discussion surrounding the proposed deletion of the page entitled How to Fly.
This page is kept as an historic record.
The result of the debate was deletion.
Originally containing a transcribed copy of the seminal flight instructions by Douglas Adams, the text was copyvio'd and has since been replaced by quite a bit of nothing. Deleting will purge both the new... stuff and the copyvio in edit history. --Ben Brockert 23:05, May 11, 2004 (UTC)
- Read it again, it's not nothing :). It is, however, deserving of deletion. Delete. -- Cyrius|✎ 23:21, May 11, 2004 (UTC)
- "quite a bit of nothing" :) --Ben Brockert 23:24, May 11, 2004 (UTC)
- This is so effing stupid, I'm surprised this isn't a candidate for speedy deletion. I can hear the dumbass trustafarian sniggling while it was being written. har effing har. Delete. Alcarillo 23:47, 11 May 2004 (UTC)
- Ridiculous. Delete.--Beelzebubs 23:52, 11 May 2004 (UTC)
- Excuse me for stating the obvious, but these are coded instructions for getting high. - Herbert 01:08, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Joke. It does contain some knowledge IMO, so if anyone wants to move or transwiki it somewhere as how to roll a reefer or something similar, do so in the next five days. Andrewa 01:19, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
- This reads like a bargain-basement Cheech and Chong ripoff. Hit it with a delete. Better still, a shot of paraquat. - Lucky 6.9 03:56, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, bad joke. --Starx 04:51, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
- Hilarious, once you figure out what it's on about. BJAODN? Delete, either way. PMC 01:20, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
- Deserves preservation outside Wikipedia as amusing nonsense. -- Jmabel 09:36, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
- Don't keep. Move to the notorious nether regions of Wikipedia if you must, but otherwise clutter. jaknouse 14:42, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
- Ignore as VfD. Reverted to copyvio notice. Trashing a copyvio notice is not WP:BJAODN, it's vandalism. --Zigger 21:24, 2004 May 16 (UTC)
