Part of a non-notable Linux software package. Delete because Wikipedia is not a set of Unix manual pages. jni 15:01, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- The article isn't a unix man page, not that I am against having entries on programs that infact do have man pages (such as chmod, du and df). Keep.--Dittaeva 16:17, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Yes but those three commands you list are decades old, known by almost every Unix user and are explained in dozens of books. Mdmpd is a (possibly short lived and still evolving) non-standard addition from a single vendor for a single platform. No change of vote. jni 16:57, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not at all encyclopedic. Next thing you know we'll have articles on every file from every operating system. Shudder. --Improv 16:44, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Weak keep—at least find a good place to merge/redirect it. —siroχo 22:26, Oct 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Merge/redirect to mdadm or Linux software RAID or something. — Gwalla | Talk 02:20, 7 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Wrong side of the line. Wile E. Heresiarch 01:22, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Exactly the sort of term for which I'd look in wikipedia for a definition. 80.255 18:06, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
