Population
[edit]What is the significance of the Roman numerals in front of the year in the Population chart. They all have XII. in front of the survey year. In a previous revision, 2017 was prepended by VI. What does this mean? — Chromatikoma
Temperatures
[edit]Why are fahrenheit temperatures used in the Climate section of this article? The Tricity is a European city and like all of Europe (even the UK) it uses celcius for temperature. Using an antiquated and unused (except for the USA and Burma) system is confusing for most people. It's time the Americans stopped using such a bizaare system.--Xanucia (talk) 23:26, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hello! Fahrenheit temperatures are located in brackets with Celsius temperatures remaining the main numbers. This is Enlish wikipedia and the USA is the biggest (AFAIK) English speaking country so I see no reason why Americans shouldn't have their units placed. Tricity or Tri-City?
[edit]Please - in English this should be Tri-City. "Tricity" would be pronounced "Trissity" and in any case is a brand owned by Electrolux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolux#Brands). Writing it Tricity shows a lack of knowledge of native English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.51.114.243 (talk) 12:58, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Stop trolling! Firstly, English spelling doesn't indicate pronunciation. Secondly, things can share their names. Seems like you're the one with a poor command of English. --2001:16B8:3132:F600:BDB8:3F1C:640B:599F (talk) 14:08, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
