What I'd really like to know after reading this text: Where does the name Dalton Plan come from? Why isn't it "Parkhurst Plan"? |l'KF'l| 17:00, Sep 27, 2004 (UTC)
- See Dalton School. Parkhurst started her plan at a high school in Dalton, Massachusetts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.194.52 (talk) 01:37, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Vague and undefined
[edit]I'm tagging this article, because it never actually states what the Dalton Plan is, or how it's incorporated/different from any other approach. Stating that the focus is the "House, the Assignment, and the Laboratory," is not enough.—DMCer™ 20:50, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]I completely agree. I came to this talk page specifically for that reason. I'm no more knowledgeable about the Dalton Plan after reading this article than I was before. I hope I don't sound harsh but, as an informative article, this one is useless. The listing of countries using this ephemeral plan is just filler.
