Huh?

[edit]

I've lived in OC my whole life and have never heard of this term.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.165.35.50 (talkcontribs) 12:36, 22 May 2005

Coastal cities?

[edit]

Several of the cities listed (Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, San Juan Capistrano) do not touch the beach. You have to go through another city to reach the ocean, so it seems like technically they are not on the coast. Where did this list come from? Alanraywiki 21:29, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever made up this fake list forgot Seal Beach. Is that not part of the "Orange Coast" in their mind? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.43.192.132 (talk) 01:24, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gold Coast?

[edit]

I have never heard of this area being called the Gold Coast? Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa are the farthest from the "Gold Coast" I have ever seen. This article should be deleted. 75.43.199.19 (talk) 06:46, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also think the article should either be deleted or add some references and merge it in with the Orange County article as a sentence or two. Alanraywiki (talk) 06:58, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OCC

[edit]

Orange Coast College was the first utterance of the phrase "Orange Coast," and as it is located within Costa Mesa, I feel that, in the event this article is not to be deleted, then it should be included. See the bitch fit recently raised by the Daily Pilot. http://dailypilot.com/articles/2010/01/13/blogs_and_columns/mesa_musings/dpt-mesamusings011310.txt Jackbewiki (talk) 04:44, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Jackbewiki[reply]
