Wikipedia talk:Wikimedia Honours

I came up with a similiar proposal (currently at user:Raul654/sandbox, although this will probably be removed). Of the ones outlined in that proposal, I think we should add two more awards here:

• Lifetime achievement award
  • Awarded for long-term contributions to the Wikipedia community.

• Order of the Peacemaker
  • Wikipedia functions only as long as its contributors can work together. This award recognizes outstanding work in helping other users co-exist. →Raul654 03:01, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)

I think we should include the "Lifetime achievement award" in Wikipedia. It is a good idea to recognize users who are loyal in contributing to Wikipedia. Has Jimbo considered this yet? --Siva1979^{Talk to me} 14:19, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
