I've been bold and have deleted the legalese on the template page. Arbitration is not a legal process before judges. It is a group of people selected by the Wikipedia community deciding, at their complete discretion (subject to community uproar) how to deal with certain disputes. RfAr's areimportant as we need an efficient way to deal with persistent disputes, but they are not court cases, jguk 13:04, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
I'm happy with these changes -- sannse (talk) 18:27, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- I think it would be useful to note explicitly that the role of each participant in the dispute will be considered - it's certainly something I hadn't realised for a long time. Also I've removed a bit that I just couldn't understand. If it's important, I'm sure it'll get reworded and re-added, jguk 19:59, 26 Feb 2005 (UTC)
