It does look like this is a corporate proxy. If it is being detected as an open proxy then it might be that the proxy is set up incorrectly. I'll see if I can find out more about this. -----J.S (T/C) 20:49, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hrm. Not sure what to make of this one, either. I'll see if I can get some people looking at this -- in the meantime, you may find WP:OP to be an interesting read. Please bear with us, and thanks for your patience. Luna Santin 22:04, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

[edit]

Are there any SansSouci's currently living in West Warick that you know of?

Just some genealogy work...

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jaime Escalante, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Morenooso (talk) 07:38, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Garzo is a hore, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Garzo is a hore, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Blocked

[edit]

So, what's the deal? You're blocked until a satisfactory explanation is provided. Acroterion (talk) 03:20, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies

[edit]

Thanks for deleting the vandalism. My laptop was inadvertently left logged in earlier this evening, and it appears that my 11-year-old autistic son took advantage of the situation. I've taken precautions (changing my wikipedia password and turning off password save in the browser) that should prevent this from happening again. Jfinlayson (talk) 05:59, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked. Looks like there was a similar incident in December; since they were out of character, I thought there might be a compromise. Acroterion (talk) 14:04, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Jfinlayson. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
