Holly Willoughby statement

[edit]

This article is about Phillip Schofield, the person. So how exactly is Willougby's "are you ok" statement relevant here? Surely it would be more suited on Willoughby's own page instead of here. Also this article makes no mention of the fact Willoughby has also left This Morning. 209.93.85.21 (talk) 10:51, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So, you’d like an irrelevant statement removed and an irrelevant statement added? Got it. Seasider53 (talk) 11:14, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. And why is Holly Willoughby's article devoid of any mention of the "Are you ok?" speech? The paragraph on this article ("Willoughby, who had previously said she was hurt that Schofield had lied to her when she asked about the rumours, returned to This Morning on 5 June for the first time since his departure") would be better placed on her article rather than here. It's not relevant to this article about Phillip Schofield, the person. Neither is her leaving the show months later. The whole paragraph should be moved from here to Willoughby's article. --195.99.227.0 (talk) 15:01, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. I think that many observers see her leaving the show, even months later, as connected with Schofield. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:12, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see your point, but that doesn't explain why it's not mentioned once on Willougby's article though. --195.99.227.0 (talk) 19:48, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that's a matter to raise at Talk:Holly Willoughby. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:18, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Change ‘is a television presenter’ to ‘was a television presenter’ 92.7.6.72 (talk) 08:31, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: This would not be done until he dies. However, it could reasonably be changed to "former television presenter". Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 12:31, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But has he stated he has retired? Do any sources tell us that? Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 17:15, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cast Away

[edit]

@Tad102: I added this text: "Following the final episode of the series, aired on 3 October, Schofield addressed his "haters", speaking about "toxic" people in his life and his brother Timothy. During the episode, Schofield bared his backside as he ran into the sea for a night-time swim, in a scene that many viewers complained about on social media.[1]" Why have you now twice reverted this? Martinevans123 (talk) 15:54, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Tad102:, would you care to respond? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:18, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
