Corrected information about the Grant

Could possibly add the map from [es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gobernación_del_Río_de_la_Plata_y_del_Paraguay here] to clarify the limits of the territory. The Spanish article has much more information on him, if anyone can translate it, but it doesn't seem to be a stub article either. -LlywelynII (talk) 07:33, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Date

[[1]] [[http://www.famousamericans.net/pedrodemendoza/]] both sites peg his birthdate at sometime in 1487 and Britannica is more official seeming. Encarta also uses that date.[[2]]. [This] is the one source I found that agrees with the dates here. -gren
