[edit]One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Brendan Behan appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. BigDunc 10:52, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi BigDunc, thanks for the info. I disagree, however, that the use of the current word "volunteer" is a neutral point of view. Or do you dispute that he was convicted of terrorism for trying to blow up Liverpool docks? Only IRA apologists use the word "volunteer".
- Terrorist is loaded word which makes a judgment on Behan, he certainly didn't consider himself a terrorist. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, this is why we avoid using terms like terrorist or freedom fighter to remain neutral. BigDunc 19:47, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
