[edit]blurb for DYK:
Did You Know,
...that George E. Studdy was a British artist best remembered for his creation of Bonzo the dog, a fictional character, in the early 1920s. A paper mâché Bonzo with a Crosley Pup AM radio is on display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC.
Bonzo also appeared on stage, most notably under the control of actor George Atterbury dressed in a Bonzo suit made by Chad Valley. A neon sign also appearedin Piccadilly Circus around 1925 advertising Pinnace cigarettes.
Studdy had artwork published from the earliest part of the 20th century and his contributions to The Sketch started around 1906 continuing through the First World War years and on until 1938.

If you are desperately keen that any of these websites get re-added to the article, please include a clear rationale here or integrate the link with an explanation of its significance in the body of the article.
