I am not a very active wikipedian, I wrote a couple of stubs and edited a dozen, not much more. But I like this project a lot, I have been very vocal advertizing for it, and I'm trying to write a couple of articles for some external media.
I grew tired of people pedantically marking articles as not notable and queuing them for deletion just because they never heard of the topic. I'm required to do some work and provide proof of notability why they seem to just wander around wikipedia marking as non-notable the pages they don't like. Wikipedia wasn't like this when it started, it's becoming a den of lawful-evil bureaucrats.
Please reply here or on discussion if you don't agree with me, I'll try to keep an open mind, despite the tone of this rant.
