This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria, specifically CSD G4. There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.
This template places the page into the categories: Candidates for speedy deletion, Category:Candidates for speedy deletion as pages previously deleted via deletion discussion.
Usage
The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.
Parameters
- Please note that this template is only to be used in the case of reposted content that was previously deleted via an XfD-type discussion (not just WP:PROD or WP:CSD)

- This is the most basic form of the template.

- Bot accounts will specify the
|bot=parameter to notify the reviewing admin that the page was tagged by an automated process.
{{db-g4|DeletionDiscussionLink}} – this parameter can also be explicitly named, as |1= or |xfd= or |page=
- Where DeletionDiscussionLink is the pagename of the most recent XfD discussion. This parameter should be specified if the page was previously deleted under a different name, or in a non-obvious location (such as a 2nd or subsequent nomination). If this parameter is not specified, the default is

This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by [[:{{{1}}}|visiting the page]] and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
