Notability
[edit]Is this anything beyond a vanity insertion? Wetman 08:04, 10 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- IMHO they're important artists in house music. (see MAW entry at allmusic.com) They're linked to from several pages, so I thought I'd add a stub to start with. --Hooverbag 08:09, 2004 Sep 10 (UTC)
Wikipedia has very few decent articles on house music... Contrast the Roger Sanchez entry, or even that of Danny Rampling, with the ridiculous coverage of the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
What on earth? They've worked with so many big names and launched the career of Marc Anthony? They remixed Michael Jackson. Sheesh, you wouldn't get these kind of complaints if it was a rock n roll band or a country singer YorkshireNed (talk) 02:44, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Removed the notability tag as of Aug 2017. Prior three comments show personal bias rather than making the case, but the points are well-taken. Masters At Work does meet notability guidelines for several reasons, including reaching #1 on the Billboard Dance Club chart in 1993, and charting several other times as well. I have added this information. There are two solid biographies of the group on Billboard and Resident Advisor should someone care to continue bolstering the article.
