notability

It is currently unclear whether this topic is notable enough for Wikipedia. In particular, since no references are cited whatsoever, it is not transparent to me whether practicalism is really a relevant concept in philosophy, or whether it is just a neologism? But that's partially due to me not being an expert in philosophy, and so I am hoping for expert opinions. Please add your comments below. --B. Wolterding 12:14, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not an expert either, but it seems practicalism is not widely used (only 155 Google Scholar hits) as a term to encompass all practical theories. The meaning of "practicalism" is obvious, and an expansion would be redundant to pragmatism; best to redirect this there (practical redirects there also). The last part about the system of government doesn't look right and doesn't explain why it's called practicalism. –Pomte 17:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
